Location: CAT Team North (Serving Alachua County and surrounding areas)
Schedule: Full-Time
Department: Community Action Team (CAT)
Reports To: CAT Team Supervisor
Pay: $56,277.50

Qualified supervision to obtain state licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LMHC) provided by Meridian.

These bonuses are for "Outpatient" services only, applicable to both Unlicensed and Licensed Clinicians.

About the Role:

Meridian's Community Action Team (CAT) is expanding services across the region to meet increasing community needs and reduce waitlists. We are seeking a dedicated, master's-level Clinician to join the CAT Team North. This role provides therapeutic services to youth and families across multiple service areas, with primary focus in Alachua County, as well as the surrounding regions where Columbia County meets Alachua and where Newberry meets the Tri-County area.This position requires flexibility, as the clinician will serve families throughout Meridian's full-service footprint. A company vehicle will be assigned to the CAT team to ensure successful coverage.

As a CAT Team Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will: 

  • Provide individual and family therapy to youth and their caregivers using evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with program standards.
  • Collaborate with CAT team members, community partners, schools, and families to ensure coordinated care.
  • Deliver services in homes, schools, and community settings across all assigned counties.
  • Participate in crisis intervention, safety planning, and 24/7 rotating on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all state, Medicaid, and agency documentation requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field required.
  • Florida licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or registered intern status preferred.
  • Experience working with youth with behavioral or emotional needs strongly preferred.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Meridian's service areas.
  • Strong communication, engagement, and crisis-management skills.
