Salary: $53,014.50 | Exempt

Qualified supervision to obtain state licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LMHC) provided by Meridian.

About the Role

This professional role is responsible for supporting clients in identifying and achieving individualized treatment goals related to recovery from mental health conditions, behavioral challenges, and/or substance use disorders. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, the incumbent fosters a collaborative and client-centered approach to care.

The position serves as a key liaison between clients, families, Meridian inpatient/outpatient staff, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care and access to appropriate resources. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support the achievement of programmatic and departmental objectives.

You Will:

· Establish and maintains a welcoming and therapeutic relationship with clients and their families

· Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate treatment in the least restrictive environment

· Conduct counseling sessions with clients - including individual, group, and family sessions

· Provide Psychoeducation to clients regarding their diagnosis and treatment options

· Schedule and/or conducts appropriate follow up appointments after discharge

· Administer care based on the client's individualized Treatment Plan, assessment of client status, and progress toward desired    outcomes

What We’re Looking For

· Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field from an accredited college or university

· Experience in an inpatient setting, and a working knowledge of the Florida Mental Health Act (Baker Act) preferred

Drivers Requirement:

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.

In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least be 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years.
