Unlicensed: $50,872.50 (+$5,000 additive for community-based services)
Licensed: $66,187.80 (0-3 years), $68,394.06 (3-6 years), $71,703.45 (6+ years)

GENERAL DUTIES:
1. Perform clinical assessments to determine diagnosis, level of care, treatment plan, and make recommendations to other agencies about these issues as needed.
2. Provides therapy services to assigned clients and/or family members in accordance with Center guidelines and procedures, and best practice standards for his/her profession. Any of the following may apply:
1. Services are provided in schools, client homes, and in the clinic.
2. Therapy is offered in a number of modalities including individual, family, and group.
3. Therapy may include a range of levels of care from prevention and educational approaches to intensive on-site/in-home outpatient care.
4. Therapy is offered to clients with a range of problems including, but not limited to,
1. Mental health issues, based on DSM diagnosis
2. Substance abuse/dependence, based on DSM diagnosis
3. Issues related to sexual, physical, emotional abuse and its consequences.
5. Crisis intervention/assessment
1. Telephone screening for need for services or eligibility
2. Face-to-face screening to determine need for inpatient admission.
3. Provides consultation services to staff from other agencies also working with the client.
4. Provide sufficient services to meet revenue requirements: 1170 billed hours per year.
5. Facilitates continuity of services within the agency and community for assigned clients.
6. Documents all services provided in a timely and accurate manner in electronic medical record, consistent with Center guidelines and procedures, and best practice standards for his/her profession.
7. Documents all services and job duties as required for billing, payroll, and reimbursement purposes, in accordance with Center guidelines and procedures.

all positions with this title.
Who are we looking for?
Education: Master's degree in
social work, counseling, psychology or closely related field. Licensure as
mental health professional or certified addictions professional required for
Clinician.
Experience: Outpatient clinical experience preferred. Work experience must include work with population to be served.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

I: Have adequate assessment/evaluation skills
A. Can effectively diagnose disorders in children and adults
B. Can articulate developmental issues and how these affect assessment and treatment.
C. Is aware of cultural and gender related issues that may affect assessment of client needs and treatment planning
D. Can identify signs and indicators of abuse/ trauma
E. Can determine the need for Crisis Stabilization
II: Has adequate treatment skills
A. Appropriately applies behavioral, cognitive, and other interventions in manner sensitive to the age and special needs of the client
B. Has facility with time effective treatment strategies
C. Understands how abuse/ trauma needs to be addressed in treatment
D. Can formulate treatment problems, goals and objectives based on assessment data
E. Understands how to effectively integrate family/caregiver in treatment, as needed
1. Understands the nature of and maintains appropriate professional boundaries (e.g., can examine the use of self in therapy, transference/counter-transference issues)
G. Provides culturally competent care
III: Has adequate consultation skills
A. Understands the needs of host agency and community partners
B. Is respectful of aims and personnel in host agency and community partners
C. Adapts to the host environment and/ or community agency
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
