Position Title: Community Liaison/Resource Coordinator

Locations: Baker, Bradford, Union, and Alachua

Salary: $25.50/hr. | Non-Exempt

We want you! We welcome your knowledge, experience, story and expertise! Here's what you will do.

  • Completes community assessments related to storm relief and recovery.
  • Develop, with community input, specific goals, and objectives to resolve service needs.
  • Links citizens with services and resources identified.
  • Maintains contact with all staff/agencies providing services for the purpose of monitoring communities progress and Outreach impact.
  • Serves as an advocate for the citizens with a wide variety of community agencies and Meridian programs. Promotes community program development to meet client needs.
  • Attend community meetings as part of the ongoing effort of outreach and recovery efforts of the storm.
  • Prepares and maintains activity records and ensures quality of documentation for grant reporting.
  • Records every activity performed by the direct service team.
  • Research develops and maintains a comprehensive list of community resources

that includes addresses, phone numbers, and names of contacts for each resource.

  • Performs other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives.


Who are we looking for?

  • 2 years collaborating directly with community members in a social service, outreach, or community engagement role.
  • This may include experience in case management, community organizing, or working with local organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred in a relevant field like social work, community development or public health.
