About the Role
As the Coordinator-Central Intake, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:
- Communicates effectively and professionally with the immediate supervisor, both verbally and in writing, on an ongoing basis.
- Ensures all walk-in clients are assessed for immediate needs and triaged appropriately.
- Clearly communicates expected wait times to clients when delays exceed one hour.
- Maintains regular contact with all Meridian offices regarding clients seeking biopsychosocial evaluations through the Centralized Intake channel.
- Serves as a liaison between walk-in clients and clinical staff to support timely and coordinated care.
- Works independently for the majority of the workday while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities.
- Maintains a standard 40-hour workweek and obtains prior approval before working additional hours.
- Schedules and submits PTO requests in a timely manner to ensure adequate program coverage.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support program and departmental goals and objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years working directly with community intake processes, working a front-line high-pressure role.
- This may include experience in working in an office setting, scheduling, working on an electronic medical records (EMR) program, medical scheduling.
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
