About the Role
As the Manager of Facilities, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:
· Responsible for maintaining employee scheduling, time off requests, vacation, e-time, etc.
· Manage, supervise and train staff.
· Maintain inventory control of janitorial supplies, maintenance supplies, departmental tools and equipment at all locations.
· Conduct facility meetings and in-service trainings, coordinates meeting times and locations, keep minutes and complete in-service forms.
· Reporting: track major expenses, purchases, extra furniture inventory, etc.
· Maintain and update files for: (not limited to)
a. Internal inspection reports
b. HVAC repairs and maintenance
c. Fire system reports - work with RM/EOC
d. Checklists and timelines
e. General facility files
· Issuing of keys, equipment, supplies etc.
· Obtain, input, distribute and monitor current and pending facility work order for all sites.
· Make facility recommendations for repair and purchases and update the Director of Facilities.
· Review work flow process and make recommendation for improvements.
· Advise and assist staff.
· Report to work on time.
· Complete all training by scheduled date.
· Provide center wide-customer service while maintaining a positive attitude.
· Proactively identify problems and propose effective solutions by filling out work orders.
· Attend meetings as assigned and active member of assigned committees
· Monitor progress of projects and timelines.
· Maintain Project Timeline database.
· Routine visitation of all company-wide buildings on a monthly basis and main campus buildings on a weekly basis (at minimum).
· Ensure all safety standards are followed.
· Perform other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals.
