About the Role

This highly responsible and professional role is accountable for planning, organizing, administering, and directing Meridian's Forensics Multidisciplinary Teams. These teams include peer specialists, clinicians, care coordinators, and an APRN or prescribing physician. The program serves individuals experiencing mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges, particularly those involved-or at risk of involvement-with the criminal justice system.

The primary goals of the Multidisciplinary Diversion team include promoting jail diversion, coordinating and linking clients to essential resources, providing court-related reporting for conditional releases, and delivering psychoeducational interventions. These services aim to reduce recidivism while improving client independence and long-term recovery outcomes.

You will:

  • Program Operations & Strategic Alignment

    Ensures program operations and objectives are aligned with the Center's mission, direction, and strategic plan.

    Budget Management

  • Develops, implements, and maintains financial controls to support accurate budget forecasting, preparation, and ongoing monitoring.

  • Program Outcomes & Reporting
    Establishes and maintains data systems to track and report program outcomes, including state performance measures, jail diversions, reductions in recidivism, state hospital diversion, client recovery, client independence, and linkages to community-based recovery supports (e.g., AA/NA).

  • Regulatory & Contract Compliance
    Ensures that Wraparound Community Care Teams meet or exceed all contract performance indicators and regulatory requirements, implementing corrective actions when standards are not met.

  • Documentation & Compliance Oversight
    Follows established processes for monitoring compliance with documentation standards through documentation reviews and the peer-review auditing process.

  • Path to Excellence Performance Standards
    Ensures the Department achieves Path to Excellence benchmarks through high-quality services, strong client outcomes, and exceptional client and referral source satisfaction.

  • Quality Improvement & Team Leadership
    Collaborates with the VP of Community Wraparound Services, Risk Management, SVP of Clinical and Community Services, and the Chief Clinical Officer (as well as working independently) to provide leadership on performance improvement initiatives, troubleshooting, and departmental operations.

  • Policy & Procedure Management
    Develops and maintains program-specific procedure manuals and forms. Participates, as appropriate, in the creation or revision of Center-wide policies, procedures, and forms.

  • Intern Supervision
    Assists with the supervision of interns seeking licensure, as needed.

  • Program Oversight & Administration
    Directs and oversees program operations, including planning, implementation, development, grant-related contributions, administration, evaluation, and budget development.

  • Staff Supervision & Clinical Guidance
    Supervises program staff and provides clinical direction to ensure high-quality client care.

  • Program Advocacy & Community Collaboration
    Serves as a program advocate and promotes program and community development. Provides consultation and education to community agencies, and coordinates activities with Center programs, staff, and external partners.

  • Grant Reporting & Monitoring
    Oversees entries into grant reporting systems (e.g., SPARS) and routinely monitors and tracks program and grant deliverables.

  • Other Duties as Assigned
    Performs additional responsibilities necessary to meet departmental goals, including coverage of managerial duties, crisis intervention, and staff functions when required.

What We're Looking For

Florida licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or Ph.D. in a mental health/Forensic field and 5 years of clinical/administrative experience in related field and mental health population served, 3 of which must be in a leadership role strongly preferred.

Center Driver:

Must have a clean and active Florida Driver's license in accordance with company's insurance requirements.
