  • Greets clients in the screening area and inventories personal effects and screens for contraband to include screening and vitals.
  • Ensure client personal hygiene is met daily: Provides items to clients for hygiene needs. Assists with, or provides direct assistance to, clients who have difficulty meeting their personal hygiene needs.
  • Vital signs are taken and documented daily or as ordered by the RN or physician.
  • Responsible for transporting CSU Gainesville and CSU Lake City clients to and from different location within the state of Florida, if approved Center Driver.

Who are we looking for?

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 1 years of direct client care with related population. Mental Health experience is strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Certification as a Nursing Assistant may substitute for the HS/GED requirement.
  • Center Driver is required for the full time/part time Mental Health Technician positions designated for transportation, or to pick up any transportation shifts.
