Minimum Qualifications:
Paramedicine clinical specialist Master's degree required in psychology, counseling/mental health, social work or related field. Preference will be given to individuals that have Florida Board of Health licensure in Marriage and Family(LMFT), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) or Social Work(LCSW) and or at least two years of their experience or training in the following areas: identification and stabilization for individuals in crisis; and experience with serious mental health, substance use, and/or co-occurring disorders.

Driver Requirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements
In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provide treatment services pre re-arrest/pre inpatient admit/pre-emergency room
· Provide outreach and screening for referrals to individuals in target population.
· Understand the Sequential Intercept Model.
· Share information and coordinate transition to later intercept points.
· Compliance with community paramedicine process, legal process, and model philosophy.
· Documentation management and data collection of outreach services in compliance with contract, license, or accreditation requirements.
· Incorporate motivational interviewing and recovery-oriented engagement strategies, to those at risk of or dealing with mental health and co-occurring substance use issues.
· Provide services to reduce services/resources of higher intensity
· Deploy with the on-call CRP Team when emergent needs arise from community partners
· Facilitate care coordination and any needed follow-ups from patient visits and interactions (Fridays if possible).
· Provides direct service through mobile response to identify, prioritize, and resolve social issues including unmet needs in order to reduce repeat 911 use, decrease hospital readmission, and increase patient quality of life.
· Ensures the proper tracking of data and statistical information related to the program.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
