About the Role

As the Vice President of Marketing, Communication, and Advancement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:

  • Lead a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and communications strategy that increases brand awareness, understanding of services, and community engagement.
  • Serve as a visible representative of Meridian in the community, at events, forums, and with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee brand management, media relations, and crisis communications.
  • Develop and execute advancement strategies that build philanthropic investment, donor engagement, and long-term community support.
  • Lead advancement and engagement efforts, including fundraising events, donor relations, and partnerships.
  • Expand and guide the Board of Associates in alignment with Meridian's strategic priorities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, community leaders, partners, and advocates.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, including partnerships and engagement functions.
  • Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for Meridian's mission and values.

    What We're Looking For

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field. Master's or Advanced degree preferred.
    • Senior-level leadership experience in marketing, communications, advancement, or related discipline.
    • Demonstrated experience in brand management, community engagement, and strategic communications.
    • Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and represent an organization publicly.
    • Proven success in fundraising and donor stewardship.
