About the Role
As the Vice President Acute Care/CRF Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:
- Directs operations of Crisis Stabilization Units, Short-Term Residential Treatment (SRT), Addictions Receiving Facility (ARF), Inpatient Units, and Central Receiving Emergency Screening Services.
- Oversee screening and assessment, emergency support coordination, CSU operations, clinical and discharge planning, nursing, staffing, hiring, orientation, training, disciplinary actions, retention, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinates administrative functions, service projections, triage, and service coordination, ensuring seamless transitions and warm hand-offs post-discharge.
- Maintains unified practices and quality staff performance across all units and locations.
- Provides leadership that fosters a culture of learning, innovation, and professional growth.
- Translates organizational goals and strategic vision into actionable plans for Acute Care and CRS, supporting ongoing growth and program development.
- Develops and updates staff training manuals and program protocols to reflect current best practices and regulatory standards.
- Coordinates services and staffing with Staffing Department, and SVP/CCO.
- Participates in the CRS Advisory Council and represents Meridian to internal and external stakeholders, including community partners, hospitals, and contracted agencies.
- Ensures seamless collaboration with related departments such as Mobile Response Team (MRT), HIV Specialist, Care Coordination, CORE and Hospital Bridge staff.
- Ensures adherence to CARF, AHCA, DCF, LSF, and other regulatory standards for clinical, billing, documentation, and service delivery.
- Maintains accurate, concurrent documentation and program manuals; conducts peer reviews and drills as required.
- Protects organizational assets and reputation by promptly reporting adverse events and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
What We're Looking For
A minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience with a Florida License as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist.
