Meridian Healthcare is seeking a Psychiatric Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) team in Gainesville, Florida. This role provides psychiatric assessments, medication management, and ongoing care for individuals with Opioid and Alcohol Use Disorders, helping clients achieve recovery, wellness, and long-term stability.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive substance use, psychiatric, and medical evaluations.
• Provide medication management, including MAT services involving Buprenorphine, Methadone, and Vivitrol.
• Deliver evidence-based care through in-person and telehealth services.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and wellness.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Advocate for clients while promoting dignity, respect, cultural sensitivity, and patient rights.

Qualifications

 Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing required

 Current Florida APRN license required

 Psychiatric Certification required

 Experience in Medication Assisted Treatment, including prescribing Buprenorphine, Methadone, and Vivitrol, or related community-based behavioral health services

 Strong communication, patient engagement, and collaboration skills

 Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
