Salary: Unlicensed: $50,872.50(+$5,000 additive for community-based service.
            Licensed: $66,187.80 (0-3 years) | $68,394.06 (3-6 years) | $71,703.45 (6+ years)

About the Role

As the MAT Clinician, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including evaluation of symptoms, mood, mental status, risk factors, and patient strengths. Accurately document diagnoses, medical necessity, treatment goals, readiness for change, skill development needs, and overall service and life goals.

  • Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans that reflect best practices and actively involve the patient in both planning and service delivery.

  • Demonstrate respect for patient rights at all times, promoting dignity, cultural sensitivity, and an inclusive environment through awareness and understanding of diverse backgrounds.

  • Maintain strict compliance with all regulations regarding Personal Health Information (PHI), ensuring information is shared only as authorized by the patient and in accordance with Center policies and HIPAA requirements.

  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

  • Perform urine drug screenings (observed and unobserved) and administer alcohol breathalyzer tests in accordance with established protocols.

  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required clinical reports.

  • Utilize computer systems and electronic health records efficiently, demonstrating proficiency in data entry, retrieval, and reporting.

  • Support program and departmental goals by performing additional duties as assigned.

  • Coordinate and deliver clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy, for assigned patients. This may include both scheduled and unscheduled client interactions.

  • Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Special Education, Health Education, or a related human services field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist is preferred.

  • A minimum of one (1) year of related experience, including training in behavioral health treatment; human growth and development; clinical assessment and evaluation; treatment planning; basic counseling and behavior management interventions; case management; clinical documentation; psychopharmacology; abuse regulations; and patient rights.

  • Knowledge of the Baker Act is preferred.

  • Program-dependent requirement: Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record and meet company insurance requirements, as applicable.
