About the Role

In this role, you'll build trusting relationships, provide individual and family therapy, complete clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans designed around each family's unique strengths, needs, and goals. As part of the CAT Team, you'll help families navigate challenges, strengthen connections, and move toward greater stability, healing, and hope.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, person-centered therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Conduct biopsychosocial and other required clinical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team.
• Provide weekly individual therapy and monthly family therapy in accordance with program requirements and individual needs.
• Build meaningful, trusting relationships with children and families while encouraging engagement in treatment.
• Collaborate with CAT Team members, families, schools, providers, and community partners to coordinate care and resources.
• Participate in team staffings, treatment planning meetings, and other required program activities.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain strong organization, time management, communication, and responsiveness while working independently in the community.
• Follow Meridian policies, procedures, professional standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the goals of the CAT Team and the individuals and families we serve.

What You'll Bring

• Education in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field, based on program requirements.
• Experience providing behavioral health, counseling, or therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• A compassionate and person-centered approach to working with children and families.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently in community-based settings while remaining connected and responsive to the treatment team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentation within established timelines.
• Comfort using electronic medical record systems and Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and SharePoint.

Driving Requirements

Because this is a community-based position, travel to homes, schools, community locations, meetings, trainings, and other service locations may be required.

• Must have a current Florida Driver's License and meet Meridian's insurance requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to qualify as a Center Driver.
• Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility.
• Must meet established Center Driver requirements regarding moving violations, accidents, and major violations.
• Staff are expected to use a Center vehicle when available. Use of a personal vehicle for Meridian business may be permitted when a Center vehicle is unavailable.
