We use a multidisciplinary approach to treating those facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders.

  • Supports the daily operation of the IS department
  • Assists with the maintenance of Meridian's software systems, reporting issues, working with vendors as needed to resolve the issues. Modifications to reports, provider views, and maintenance of staff access.
  • Supports all organizational staff by way of IS Helpdesk, in service trainings, both online and phone support.
  • Works day to day in Meridian's data systems, running reports to identify and correct inaccuracies of data. Suggests edits and corrections based on data to improve operations.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains expert knowledge of agency EMR workflows to support users and make modifications as requested. Frequently involves attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Queries databases, creates reports and analyzes data to comply with reporting requirements and support.
  • Expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
  • Works with EMR team to implement new technologies, assists with plans and roll-out.
  • Supports the IS department in the accurate set-up and security settings for staff, maintaining and auditing current set-up, reporting issues, and correcting as needed.

Who are we looking for?

  • AA or equivalent plus 3 years' experience in a medium to large scale enterprises must be related to healthcare and electronic medical records.
  • HIPAA Training Security and Privacy - Current Certificate of Completion
  • Interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to identify needs and define correct course of action related to problem solving.
  • Experience with Excel (moderate to expert), Access (beginner).
  • Experience with evaluating data, correcting data, and general data analysis.

Driver Requirement:

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements
