Rate Of Pay: $45,000-$67,000 | Exempt
This is a senior, advanced professional counseling position providing clinical evaluation, treatment and consultation for clients in the CMHC. This position requires the ability to work in a Team to build professional cultural sensitive, empathetic relationships with clients, while providing efficient and appropriate, evidence-based direct clinical services such as Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, SBIRT and Motivational Interviewing. Focus will be on serving severely emotionally disturbed children (SED), severely mentally ill (SMI) and co-occurring disorder clients. Must have a specialization in the treatment of one or more of these conditions. Several Clinician will be members of the MRT providing 24/7 services. Work is performed with a high degree of independence.
· Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field. Licensure as mental health professional or certified addictions professional is preferred. Salary commensurate with education and licensure. Must have 2 years of experience with the population to be served.
· ** Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.
Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.
In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years. Drivers over 65 years old must provide a current doctor's note stating they have no driving limitations.
a) Services are provided in the clinic or in the community or through telehealth.
b) Therapy is offered in a number of modalities including individual, family, and group.
c) Therapy may be provided in multiple settings.
d) Therapy is offered to clients with a range of problems including, but not limited to,
i) Mental health issues
ii) Substance use disorders
iii) Issues related to sexual, physical, emotional abuse and its consequences.
e) Crisis intervention/assessment
Facilitates continuity of services within the agency and community for assigned clients.
· Coordinates services with parents and other stakeholders.
· Documents all services concurrently in the electronic health record in an accurate manner, consistent with Center guidelines and procedures, and best practice standards for his/her profession. Must be willing to work shifts to provide 24/7
