Meridian Behavioral Health is a private, non -profit organization with roots in the mental health community since the 1960's. Since that time, we've expanded to 13 counties in North Central Florida. We us a multidisciplinary approach to treating to those facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders.

  • Develops content for Meridian collateral in support of Meridian's marketing, development and communications plans.
  • Oversees the Meridian website by updating and adding content as necessary.
  • Represents Meridian in the community, at public events, and on campus, as requested.
  • Assists in the development, designing, editing, printing, and web publication of Meridian center wide materials used in external promotion.
  • Develops content for social media and digital marketing efforts on behalf of the organization.
  • Creates, manages, and adheres to Meridian's editorial calendar.
  • Makes regular posts to various social media outlets (Facebook, twitter, Instagram YouTube, etc.)
  • Reviews every Meridian publication, advertisement, and photo to ensure brand compatibility, correct grammar, and standards conformity.
  • Works with the Advancement & Marketing team to promote events and development programs.
  • Assists in coordinating general advertising (print, broadcast, digital, and outdoor advertising) for Meridian
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Who are we looking for?

  • AA in public relations, marketing, mass communications or a related field required. BA of the same preferred.

AND

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in public relations, graphic design, social media management, marketing, mass communications, or a related field.
