PRN Emergency Driver | Lake City | 9.18

This position will be responsible for transporting CSU Gainesville and CSU Lake City clients to and from different location within the state of Florida.


Position Requirements:

Must have a valid Florida Drivers license: Class E

Must be between the age of 25 and 69 years

Must have a clean driving record

Must be able to pass the Florida DOT drivers physical

Must have home or cell phone

Driver Requirement:

Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform all driving duties in a safe legal manner

Maintain a current Florida driver's license

Transport clients as needed from or to both CSU

Make sure the vehicle has a full tank of fuel for the next driver

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
