About the Role
As the Registered Nurse CRS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive shift assessments, including intake, admission, and discharge (D/C) evaluations to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
Collect, analyze, and communicate critical patient information to the interdisciplinary care team to support informed decision-making.
Complete incident reports based on detailed patient and staff interviews, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Develop and assign daily nursing staff assignments in collaboration with the RN Shift Supervisor to optimize workflow and patient coverage.
Participate in peer evaluations to support staff development and maintain high clinical standards.
Perform clinical assessments and interventions in accordance with Board of Nursing standards and scope of practice.
Supervise and delegate patient care activities to CNA's, LPN's, and unit clerks, ensuring tasks are aligned with licensure, competency, and experience.
Coordinate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, high-quality care.
What We're Looking For
- Clear/Active license to practice as an RN in the State of Florida.
- Experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred.
- ** Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.
