Position Summary: 

This is a professional position assigned to the Outpatient Psychiatry Department which is responsible for carrying out daily business operations of the Outpatient Psychiatry clinics in a manner consistent with Meridian's Strategic Plan. The Practice Services Coordinator works closely with the VP of Medical Practice Management and the CMA/Medical Services Supervisor to ensure proper patient flow according to Policy and Procedure, in all Outpatient Psychiatry clinics spanning a ten county catchment area. The Practice Services Coordinator focuses on providing a positive customer experience while enhancing the relationships between the consumer and the business. The work requires skills in client relations, intra and interdepartmental communication and competency in/with technology and related devices, including telehealth video screens, and messaging systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

? Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Health, or closely related field; preferred.

? Two years' experience in administrative services at a behavioral health agency preferred.

? Experience in quality improvement processes.

? Skills in process of client relations required.

? Competency in/with technology and related devices, including telehealth video screens, and messaging systems required.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

? Work closely with VP of Medical Practice Management, CMA/Medical Services Supervisor, clinical and support staff, and senior management to support efficient operations of outpatient clinic.

? Identify, monitor and track key performance indicators for access, efficiency, and effectiveness of Outpatient Psychiatry services.

? Continuously evaluate systems and processes in the outpatient Psychiatry clinics to meet targets for access to care, client and staff satisfaction, and revenue; and collaborate with program management to identify and implement improvements at the systems level.

? Monitor provider schedules for timely follow through of scheduled and walk-in appointments.

? Oversees the Medical Services Support email and voicemail ensuring all client inquiries are

addressed in a timely manner.

? Support expansion of telehealth services.

? Provide timely feedback to staff, program management, and Vice President on clinic operations,

and on client and staff satisfaction or concerns.

? Drive to various Outpatient Psychiatry clinics to assist with clinic operations when necessary.

? Performs other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives.
